OnePlus 8 series to be launched on April 14
OnePlus's new batch of flagship phones, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, will be launched in India on April 14, according to an official tweet from the company. The program will kick off at 8:30 pm in the country and is likely to be an online-only event, considering the ongoing 21-day lockdown will end on April 14 itself. Here are more details.

OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro: Design and display
According to leaked renders, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will come with an in-trend punch-hole design with curved screen edges and glass bodies. However, only the Pro version will boast of an IP68 water-resistance. The OnePlus 8 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate whereas the non-Pro version will bear a 90Hz 6.55-inch Full-HD+ screen.
The Pro variant will get a quad-camera arrangement
The more premium OnePlus 8 Pro will get a quad-camera array with dual 48MP sensors, an 8MP lens, and a 5MP camera. The regular variant, on the other hand, will get a triple-lens setup including a 48MP main sensor, a 16MP secondary lens, and another 2MP camera. On the front, both handsets will sport a 16MP camera housed in a tiny punch-hole setup.
Under the hood
The upcoming OnePlus 8 series will be backed by Qualcomm's top-tier Snapdragon 865 5G processor, coupled with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM (LPDDR4 on OnePlus 8) and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Further, the Pro model will pack a 4,510mAh battery with 30W wired as well as 30W wireless charging support while the vanilla variant will house a 4,300mAh battery with 30W wired charging only.

While the official pricing details will be announced on April 14, we expect the OnePlus 8 series to arrive in India at a starting price of Rs. 38,000 for the 8GB/128GB model.
