#LeakPeek: OnePlus 8 to come in these three color variants
OnePlus's upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 8, will come in at least three new color variants. Tipsters Roland Quandt and Ishan Agarwal have leaked the official render images, revealing an Interstellar Glow model with purplish-red gradient design, a sea-green variant called Glacial Green, and an all-black Onyx Black. Notably, these models also feature the new logo design. Here are more details.
Let's have a closer look
A closer look at the official images confirms that the Interstellar Glow and Glacial Green variants will come with a matte-finished glass back while the Onyx Black model will offer a glossy look. Further, the Interstellar Glow model will have a shiny grey-colored metal frame whereas the Glacial Green and Onyx Black variants will feature matte green and matte black metal rails, respectively.
Meanwhile, OnePlus 8 Pro will also have a green variant
The new renders reiterate the known design features
By now, we also know that the OnePlus 8 will sport a punch-hole design, with curved screen edges and metal-glass construction. However, unlike the Pro model, it will have slightly more noticeable bezels. The handset will sport a triple-lens rear camera setup and offer a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The triple-camera array on the OnePlus 8 will include a 48MP main sensor, a 16MP secondary lens, and another 2MP camera. On the front, the handset is expected to come with a 16MP selfie shooter.
OnePlus 8 will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor
The OnePlus 8 will be powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset, the 5G-ready Snapdragon 865. It will also get 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Under the hood, the handset will run on Android 10-based Oxygen OS and pack a 4,300mAh battery with 30W wired charging. Reportedly, the 30W wireless charging feature will be exclusive to the Pro model.
