OnePlus 8 series, 8T receive the latest OxygenOS update
OnePlus has started releasing a new OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and 8T models. As per the changelog, the firmware optimizes long screenshots and the UI display effect for the notifications bar. It improves the stuttering problem of some third-party apps and fixes noise issue on 5G calls. It also bumps up the Android security patch level to January 2021.

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are receiving update version OxygenOS 11.0.4.4. The OnePlus 8T users in Europe are receiving OxygenOS 11.0.7.10 update, while users in India and North America are receiving OxygenOS 11.0.7.9.
Recalling the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and 8T
The OnePlus 8 trio features a punch-hole cut-out display with slim bezels and an integrated fingerprint sensor. While the OnePlus 8 and 8T bear a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates, respectively, the OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ (1440x3168 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the rear, the OnePlus 8 has a 48MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro camera, while the 8 Pro gets a 48MP primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP telephoto camera, and 5MP color filter. Meanwhile, the 8T offers a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. All three have a 16MP front camera.
Under the hood
OnePlus 8 series and the 8T are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. While the OnePlus 8 packs a 4,300mAh battery, the 8 Pro comes with a 4,510mAh battery. The OnePlus 8T houses a 4,500mAh battery. For connectivity, they offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C port.
