This is our first look at the OnePlus 7T
Keeping up with its tradition of launching two flagship phones every year, OnePlus is ready to launch the OnePlus 7T series sometime next month. And, now tipster @OnLeaks and Pricebaba have collaborated to give us an early look at the standard model which will arrive as a follow-up to the OnePlus 7. Here's how OnePlus 7T will look like.
OnePlus 7T to retain OnePlus 7's waterdrop notched design
As per renders, OnePlus 7T will retain OnePlus 7's waterdrop notched display with slim bezels and a wide earpiece grille. However, on the rear, the phone will jettison the dual-camera system of its predecessor to offer triple sensors arranged in a circular hub. Another change is coming to the bottom edge where the mock speaker grille will be replaced by the SIM card slot.
OnePlus 7T should offer a 6.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display
Considering the front of the OnePlus 7T will remain the same as that of OnePlus 7, we expect the handset to retain its predecessor's 6.4-inch non-curved Optic AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Further, the phone should also come with an improved in-screen fingerprint sensor and dual speakers.
OnePlus 7T to get a new rear camera setup
According to renders, the OnePlus 7T will have three sensors arranged horizontally inside a circular compartment. Reportedly, the forthcoming flagship will retain the 48MP main sensor of the OnePlus 7 and pair it up with a wide-angle lens and another depth camera. On the front, the phone is said to offer a 16MP selfie snapper - same as the OnePlus 7.
Under the hood
The OnePlus 7T is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Under the hood, it could pack a 3,700mAh battery with 20W fast charging support and run on Android Pie-based. OnLeaks also notes that the company will announce a OnePlus 7T McLaren "Senna" Edition as well.
OnePlus 7T series to launch on September 26?
Pricebaba has said that OnePlus 7T series, which will include the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro, will launch in India on September 26 alongside the OnePlus TV. The details about its pricing are not available, at the moment.
