OnePlus 7T's design officially revealed ahead of September 26 launch
OnePlus is known to tease highlight features of its products to build some anticipation. But in a first, the company has followed in the footsteps of Google to reveal the entire design of its upcoming OnePlus 7T flagship, ahead of its launch. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has shared official renders of the phone, confirming a new triple-camera system arranged in a circular module.
Here's everything to know about OnePlus 7T's design
As per official renders, OnePlus 7T will offer a smaller waterdrop-like notched display with a slim bottom bezel and a wide earpiece grille. On the rear, the phone will replace the dual-camera system of its predecessor to offer triple sensors arranged in a circular hub. According to Lau, the glass body will feature a "smooth matte surface with a brilliant metallic radiance."
OnePlus 7T to sport a 90Hz display
Further, according to a tip-off by reputed leaker Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 7T will sport a 6.55-inch non-curved AMOLED display with 2K resolution. The screen will also support 90Hz refresh rate, a feature that has already been confirmed by the company.
OnePlus 7T to offer a 48MP triple rear camera
The OnePlus 7T is tipped to feature a triple-rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.6) primary sensor, a 12MP (f/2.2) telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view. The camera will also support 960fps slow-motion videos, wide-angle video recording, and Nightscape. Up front, it is said to retain the same 16MP (f/2.0) sensor we've seen on OnePlus 7.
OnePlus 7T to come with a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7T is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, paired with upto 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Under the hood, the phone is likely to house a 3,800mAh battery and run on Android Pie-based OxygenOS, considering the Android 10-based update is still in the testing phase.
OnePlus 7T will launch in India on September 26
The OnePlus 7T will launch on September 26 alongside the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus TV. In India, the event will be held in New Delhi and it will kick off at 7 pm.
