OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro: Specifications, features, and other details
Earlier this year, OnePlus launched two new devices - OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro - and now, it is gearing up to unveil the T variants of both devices sometime in September. So far, several leaks and renders have revealed the design of the upcoming models as well as their key specifications and features. Here's all you need to know about these devices.
OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro: Design
Going by the renders, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro will mostly look the same as their predecessors. The standard model will retain a waterdrop notched display while the Pro model will sport an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. However, on the vanilla 7T, a triple-lens camera system will replace the dual-sensor unit seen on the OnePlus 7.
OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro: All about the screen
As per leaks, the OnePlus 7T Pro will continue to offer the same 2K, 90Hz curved AMOLED screen we have come to love on the OnePlus 7. However, the OnePlus 7T will arrive as a major upgrade to the standard OnePlus 7. The handset is tipped to sport a slightly bigger 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 90Hz resolution, and a slightly smaller notch.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The OnePlus 7T will feature a triple-lens camera setup wherein it will retain the 48MP main sensor of its predecessor and amp it up with a wide-angle lens and a depth camera. On the upcoming Pro model, we expect to see the same optics that we have seen on the OnePlus 7 Pro. However, some software improvements and new features are on the cards.
Under the hood
Both OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, paired with upto 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the maxed-out 12GB/256GB configuration may be exclusive to the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren "Senna" Edition. Under the hood, the standard model will house a 3,800mAh battery while the Pro variant will pack a 4,080mAh battery.
