OnePlus 7 Pro to get HDR, Nightscape 2.0 improvements soon
OnePlus 7 Pro, applauded for its fast performance and stunning display, has been marred with poor camera performance. Several users of the flagship phone have reported issues like unnatural selfies, smudginess in zoomed images, as well as inaccurate color and contrast in pictures. However, OnePlus has responded to these concerns, saying the upcoming firmware update will bring substantial improvements to the camera. Here's more.
The new update is coming in a "week or so"
In response to the issues reported by users, OxygenOS Product Manager Jimmy Z has said that a new update bringing improvement in the HDR effect, Nightscape mode as well as some tweaks based on the feedback, is coming in a "week or so". In his post, Jimmy also noted that the photos taken while testing the new firmware "look substantially better."

To recall, the OnePlus 7 Pro offers an uninterrupted all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. The multi Autofocus (PDAF+LAF+CAF) triple-lens rear camera comprises a 48MP (f/1.7, OIS) main lens, an 8MP (f/2.4, OIS) telephoto lens which offers 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens. Up front, there's a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with upto 12GB RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Notably, this new storage technology offers upto 79% faster read-and-write speeds as compared to existing UFS 2.0 storage format. Under the hood, the phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W Speed Warp fast charging.

In India, the OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Rs. 48,999 for the base-end 6GB/128GB model. The mid-end 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 52,999 and the top-end 12GB/256GB variant is listed at Rs. 57,999.
