OnePlus 7 Pro to feature QHD+ display and 4,000mAh battery
Alongside the much-awaited OnePlus 7 flagship, OnePlus will also launch a more spruced up Pro model. Recently, some hands-on images of this model got leaked online, giving away its design and key specifications. And now reputed tipster Ishan Agarwal has provided more information, claiming that OnePlus 7 Pro would feature a QHD+ display, triple rear cameras, and a 4,000mAh battery. Here's everything to know.
OnePlus 7 Pro: At a glance
Based on recent leaks and renders, the OnePlus 7 Pro model will be identical to OnePlus 7 with an all-screen design, triple rear cameras, and a pop-up selfie camera. Interestingly, the Pro model will also feature curved screen edges. Further, the phone is said to feature a 6.67-inch Super Optic display with Quad HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 90Hz.

According to the leaked specifications, OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor, joined by an 8MP telephoto sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Further, going by the design, this model will also come with a pop-up selfie camera. However, specifications of the sensor remain unclear as of now.
Under the hood
Thanks to some credible leaks, we know OnePlus 7 Pro will be backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and run Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.5.1. Under the hood, it will pack a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charging support via USB Type-C 3.1 port. Agarwal also claimed that OnePlus 7 Pro would pack dual speakers and an improved vibration motor for haptic feedback.

As per the tip-off by Agarwal, OnePlus 7 will arrive in three variants with model numbers GM1901, GM1903, and GM1905. The OnePlus 7 Pro model will come in four variants with model numbers GM1911, GM1913, GM1915, and GM1917. Lastly, the company will also launch a 5G model of its Pro variant and it will have a model number GM1920.

According to Agarwal, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro "will launch in New York, UK and Bangalore simultaneously on 14th May." In India, the Bengaluru (Bangalore) event is likely to start at 8:30pm. As for pricing, given the design makeover, camera upgrade, and internal increment, OnePlus 7 might see an uptick of $50-100 over OnePlus 6T while OnePlus 7 Pro would be more expensive.
