OnePlus 7 launch date to be revealed on April 23
In a tweet, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has announced that the company would reveal the date of its next launch event on Tuesday i.e. April 23 And while his tweet reveals nothing more, we expect the tech giant to unveil the OnePlus 7 series at this upcoming event. Meanwhile, a lot of leaks have already revealed the specifications of the series.

OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7: At a glance
According to latest renders, OnePlus 7 will look like OnePlus 6T with a waterdrop notched display. On the other hand, OnePlus 7 Pro will feature an all-screen design and a pop-up selfie camera. Further, OnePlus 7 is said to sport a 6.4-inch screen whereas the Pro model is tipped to offer a 6.67-inch curved display with Quad HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
According to a leak, OnePlus 7 Pro is likely to feature a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, paired with a 16MP sensor and another 8MP sensor. Up front, the pop-up module will house a single selfie camera. The standard OnePlus 7 will come with a dual rear-camera setup and a single front camera. Unfortunately, the specifications are unclear as of now.
Under the hood
As per reports, both phones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with upto 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, the high-end specs could be exclusive to the Pro model which is said to house a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charging support via USB Type-C 3.1 port, dual speakers, and an improved vibration motor for haptic feedback.
Pricing and availability
According to @IshanAgarwal24, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro may launch "in New York, UK and Bangalore simultaneously on 14th May." In India, the Bengaluru (Bangalore) event is likely to start at 8:30pm. As for pricing, given the design makeover, camera upgrade, and internal increment, OnePlus 7 might see an uptick of $50-100 over OnePlus 6T while OnePlus 7 Pro would be more expensive.
