OnePlus 6T India launch imminent, will be Amazon exclusive
OnePlus 6T, the successor to OnePlus 6, is expected to launch in India soon. Amazon has activated a landing page for the upcoming OnePlus flagship which, like OnePlus 6, will be exclusive to the e-commerce giant. Further, the company has aired the first TV advertisement for the OnePlus 6T featuring brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan. Here's everything you need to know about OnePlus 6T.
OnePlus 6T will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor
In the TV ad, Bachchan confirms the in-display fingerprint sensor by calling it "a cooler way to unlock your phone" while phrases like "Touch for innovation" add to the curiosity. Moreover, this aligns with the previous leaks wherein a OnePlus 6T retail box confirmed the new feature. But with the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor being removed, we hope the in-display fingerprint sensor is fast enough.

OnePlus 6T will have an improved dual rear-camera setup
Earlier, OnePlus 6T was rumored to sport a triple rear-camera setup - much like its cousin, the OPPO R17. However, the tipster Ronald Quadnt suggests the upcoming OnePlus flagship will have a dual-rear camera setup - similar to its predecessor - but with improved optics.
OnePlus 6T will be slightly bigger, will feature waterdrop-like notch
OnePlus 6T is expected to drop the wider display cut-out in favor of a smaller, waterdrop-like notch introduced by OPPO. The tipster also suggests the OnePlus 6T will be marginally bigger and will have more rounded corners than the OnePlus 6. Further, the phone is expected to pack a 6.41-inch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340x1080-pixel resolution - just like OPPO R17 Pro.

What else to expect from OnePlus 6T?
Well, OnePlus 6T came with top-end internals and 6T, which appears more of a design upgrade, would retain similar specs. Hence, the phone should be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage option - considering Samsung Note 9, and Apple's iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max offer this storage capacity now.
Like Apple and Google, OnePlus kills the headphone jack
According to some leaked images of purported OnePlus 6T cases, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will not feature a headphone jack. Moreover, the company has announced its new USB Type-C headphones - meaning you'll have to either use one of those or wireless headphones.
OnePlus 6T is expected to be priced at $550
According to reports, the price of OnePlus 6T is tentatively set at $550 (approximately Rs. 36,000), a minor increase from OnePlus 6's starting price of $529. That said, $550 mark is still not finalized. However, if OnePlus 6T is likely to get a new design, upgraded camera and under the hood updates, we can expect the price to come close to $600.
