OnePlus 6T's new teaser reveals in-display fingerprint sensor, bezel-less design
Finally, OnePlus 6T is official. And in the build-up to the launch, OnePlus has released a fresh teaser of its upcoming flagship. The teaser hints at OnePlus 6T's in-display fingerprint sensor while briefly highlighting the bezel-less design. Notably, in India, the phone will be Amazon exclusive and the e-commerce giant has already activated a "Coming Soon" page. Here's everything we know about OnePlus 6T.
OnePlus 6T's teaser confirms key feature
Several leaks and renders have so far suggested that OnePlus 6T will debut an in-display fingerprint sensor. This feature was earlier teased in a TV ad wherein Amitabh Bachchan hinted at the new technology by calling it "a cooler way to unlock your phone." And now, the latest teaser sheds more light: "A key innovation lies just beneath the surface. Prepare for the #OnePlus6T."

OnePlus 6T will not come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor
According to previous reports, we know that OnePlus 6T will not come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Instead, users will have to rely on the in-display fingerprint sensor or face unlock or passcode to securely unlock the device.
Further, OnePlus 6T to feature waterdrop-like notch
OnePlus 6T is expected to downsize the wider display cut-out in favor of a smaller, waterdrop-like notch to boast a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor. Reportedly, the phone will pack a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340x1080 pixel resolution. Moreover, it will be slightly bigger than OnePlus 6 and is tipped to measure at 157.5x75.7x8.2mm (8.6mm at the camera bump).
Leak suggests 3,700mAh battery; no headphone jack confirmed
Interestingly, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei had recently confirmed that OnePlus 6T won't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Hence, a safe guess is that the upcoming flagship will come bundled with the recently launched OnePlus USB-Type C Bullet headphones. Further, a recent leak claimed that OnePlus 6T will pack a 3,700mAh battery - a decent upgrade over 3,300mAh battery on the OnePlus 6.
What else to expect from OnePlus 6T?
Well, OnePlus 6T came with top-end internals and 6T, which appears more of a design upgrade, would retain similar specs. Hence, the phone should be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage option. Moreover, we should also see improved optics on the dual-rear camera setup, considering a triple-rear camera is not happening.
Price and Availability
According to an alleged launch event invite spotted on Weibo, OnePlus 6T's launch event will happen in India on October 17. Further, Amazon has already activated an exclusive listing page, suggesting the launch is imminent. Previous reports suggest the price of OnePlus 6T is tentatively set at $550 (approximately Rs. 36,000), a minor increase from OnePlus 6's starting price of $529.
