OnePlus 6T to officially launch in India on October 30
It is official. OnePlus 6T will launch in India on October 30 at an event scheduled in New Delhi at 8:30PM. The launch invites, priced at Rs. 999, will go on sale via OnePlus India website on October 17, starting 10AM. Notably, the launch event will also be live streamed on OnePlus's YouTube channel. Here's more on OnePlus 6T and its launch.
Attend the launch, get OnePlus Bullets Wireless
All those attending the launch event would get a hands-on experience of the OnePlus 6T. Interestingly, all attendees will also receive a goodie bag from OnePlus. And according to the company, this hamper will include a set of "OnePlus Bullets Wireless, OnePlus Sketch book, OnePlus Pin-set and a Digital voucher worth Rs. 999 that will be emailed post the launch".
OnePlus 6T pre-orders could start on launch day itself
Earlier, an Amazon listing revealed that OnePlus 6T will be unveiled on October 30. The listing also noted that users who pre-book the phone will get OnePlus Type-C earphone and Rs. 500 as Amazon Pay balance. Further, we can expect the phone to become available for pre-ordering on October 30 itself.
OnePlus 6T may not come bundled with headphones in-the-box
Considering OnePlus is offering Type-C headphone for free as part of a pre-order offer, it implies these Type-C headphones may not come bundled in the box but may be sold as an optional accessory. We also know there is no 3.5mm jack for regular headphones.
OnePlus 6T: At a glance
OnePlus 6T borrows the design from its recently launched cousin, the OPPO R17. So, up front, the phone will sport a waterdrop notched display with a slim bottom bezel. On the back, there will be a dual rear-camera setup and no fingerprint sensor. Further, OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and possibly Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
What else do we know about OnePlus 6T?
Internally, the phone will be similar to OnePlus 6 except for two changes - an in-display fingerprint sensor (Screen Unlock) and a bigger battery. Reportedly, OnePlus 6T will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Further, the phone will pack a 3,700mAh battery and run Android Pie-based Oxygen OS 9.0 out-of-the-box.
