The high-end OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, that was launched in India last December, is up for grabs once again. The phone is priced at Rs. 50,999 and is available on Amazon in limited stock only. To recall, the McLaren Edition is same as the regular variant except for a redesigned back panel, 10GB RAM and 30W Speed Warp fast charging. Here's our roundup.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition: At a glance
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition looks exactly the same as the regular OnePlus 6T except for a redesigned glass back with textured black carbon fiber finish, an orange accent that runs halfway across the phone's frame and a McLaren logo. Further, like the regular model, the McLaren Edition also sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340pixels) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 6 protection and in-screen fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition retains the camera of OnePlus 6T
Like the regular OnePlus 6T, the premium McLaren Edition sports a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with a 20MP (f/1.7) secondary sensor and LED flash. The main camera also supports an improved Portrait mode and an all-new Nightscene which offers better images in low-light. Up front, the phone has a 16MP (f/2.0) RGB camera that also assists Face Unlock.
Under the hood
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with 10GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Further, the phone packs a 3,700mAh battery with support for a new 30W Speed Warp fast-charging technology rather than 20W Dash charge seen on the regular variant. OnePlus claims Speed Warp charging technology will offer "a day's charge in 20 minutes."
