Hands-on leaked photos show OnePlus 6 pitted against iPhone X
Several leaks and rumors have already revealed a lot about the upcoming OnePlus flagship, OnePlus 6. The latest hands-on image, surfaced on Chinese social media, shows a OnePlus 6 with its display turned-on and has been compared with an iPhone X. While the iPhone X may have debuted the notch, this leaked image suggests that OnePlus 6 might have done it a 'notch' better. Here's why.
It's OnePlus 6 vs iPhone X
In this latest image, OnePlus 6 can be seen with a visibly taller display and a smaller notch than the iPhone X. Notably, the OnePlus 6 display bears striking resemblance to that of the iPhone X, especially how the display is rounded at the curves. Moreover, OnePlus 6's ability to hide its notch will excite everyone who was disappointed by the $1,000 iPhone X.
What is expected out of the phone
OnePlus 6 will reportedly sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 90% screen-to-body ratio, an aspect ratio of 19:9, 16MP + 20MP dual-rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, and a 3,450mAh battery. It will feature three variants with expected pairings of 6GB RAM/64GB, 8GB RAM/128GB, and 12GB RAM/256GB. It will run Android Oreo-based Oxygen 5.1 OS and be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor.
OnePlus 6 will launch in India on May 17
The company's much-awaited flagship will launch in India on May 17 (3 pm IST) at an official event in Mumbai. OnePlus will start selling launch event entry vouchers to the general public from May 8 for Rs. 999. The phone will exclusively start selling on Amazon at 12 pm IST on May 21 only for Prime members.
OnePlus 6 will be priced starting Rs. 36,999 in India
