OnePlus 6 pegged at starting price of Rs. 33,999
The internet is rife with leaks and rumors about the OnePlus 6, which is expected to launch next month. In latest news, the flagship smartphone's 64GB model will reportedly be priced between Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 36,999, the 128GB variant between Rs. 38,999 and Rs. 42,999, and the much-awaited 256GB model is expected to be priced between Rs. 44,999 and Rs. 48,999.
OnePlus 6 to have a notch, 90% screen-to-body ratio
The OnePlus 6 will have its biggest screen yet with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It will feature a notch and a bottom bezel or a "chin", with the bezels on the side and top being practically invisible. CEO Pete Lau said, "Our goal is to maximize the amount of real estate available. The result is the largest viewable area we have ever produced."
Here's what is expected out of the phone
According to reports, the OnePlus 6 will sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a wide-screen aspect ratio of 19:9, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, and a 20MP front camera. It will feature three variants of 6GB RAM, 8GB RAM, and a humongous 12GB RAM option. The smartphone will run Android Oreo-based Oxygen 5.1 and may have a 3,450mAh battery.
OnePlus 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor
Another thing that has been confirmed by Lau is that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and will thankfully have a headphone jack. The phone will most probably come bundled with the OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones.
