The much-awaited OnePlus 6 is going to be Amazon-exclusive in India. To that end, the e-commerce platform has launched a dedicated landing page for the upcoming flagship smartphone. Interested buyers can register for updates regarding the smartphone's launch via the 'Notify Me' button on the webpage. Notably, the phone's official launch date still hasn't been announced, although it is expected to come in mid-May.
The phone might be priced at Rs. 39,000
Further, there is no word on the pricing of the OnePlus 6 as well, but the smartphone is expected to start selling at Rs. 39,000, with its higher variants crossing Rs. 40,000.
Review OnePlus 6 first-hand before official release with the Lab
OnePlus has launched a OnePlus 6-edition of its community review program, "The Lab". Under it, fans get to use the smartphone before it releases to the general public, and write a detailed review of the same. Submit your application for joining the Lab by May 2. The chosen reviewers will be announced by May 13. If selected, you can keep the handset you receive.
What is expected out the device
OnePlus 6 will reportedly sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a wide-screen aspect ratio of 19:9, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, and a 3,450mAh battery. It will feature three variants of 6GB RAM/64GB, 8GB RAM/128GB, and a humongous 12GB RAM/256GB option. It will run the Android Oreo-based Oxygen 5.1 OS and be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor.
What is confirmed about the device
The upcoming phone will feature a notch. It will have OnePlus's biggest screen with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It will have a headphone jack, a bottom bezel, 4K video recording capability, and IP68 water resistance. It will come in black, blue and white color options.
