OnePlus may launch Avengers Edition this month
The OnePlus 6 may not have a formal launch date yet but the company's CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed kthe ey details about the smartphone. Further, OnePlus seems to have partnered with Marvel Studios to bring an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 variant. The handset is expected to launch sometime around the release of 'Avengers: Infinity War' scheduled for April 27 in India.

According to a video posted on OnePlus India's Facebook page, the company is collaborating with Marvel Studios to launch an Avengers-themed variant of its 2018 flagship - the OnePlus 6. The teaser video, which was soon removed, inter-cuts between the OnePlus and Avengers logos to reveal the release date of the movie 'Avengers: Infinity War'. You've got the hint, right?

In a forum post, CEO Lau has also confirmed some key specifications of the OnePlus 6. Affirming earlier reports, Lau has said that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This could well be the top-end variant of the OnePlus 6 and perhaps the most expensive OnePlus phone yet.
What else do we know?
The OnePlus 6 is expected to feature a 6.28-inch display with an 1080 x 2280 resolution with a taller 19:9 display. Moreover, earlier renders have revealed that the phone will feature a rear-dual camera setup which is expected to support 4K video recording. It is expected to run Android 8.1.0 Oreo out of the box.
OnePlus 6 may be the company's most expensive offering
A recent leak suggests that the OnePlus 6 will cost CNY 3,299 (Rs. 34,200) for 64GB variant, while its 128GB and 256 GB variant will be priced at CNY 3,799 (Rs. 39,300) and CNY 4,399 (Rs. 45,600) respectively. Interestingly, the OnePlus 6 will be slightly expensive than its predecessors but will still be cheaper than the likes of iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+.
