OnePlus 10 Pro's price in India leaked ahead of launch
OnePlus is all set to launch its flagship 10 Pro handset globally, including India, on March 31. Now, the price of the smartphone in India has been leaked online, courtesy of tipster Abhishek Yadav. It will start at Rs. 66,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. The tipster has also claimed that the phone will go on sale on April 5 via Amazon.
Why does this story matter?
It has been more than three months since OnePlus launched its flagship 10 Pro handset in China. Everything there is to know about the phone is already in the public sphere. The current leak about the pricing of the smartphone in India would certainly diminish the charm of the upcoming global launch event, mainly because it was the sole selling point of the event.
The handset features a 120Hz QHD+ display
The OnePlus 10 Pro sports a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset bears a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 1,300-nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. In India, it will be offered in Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black color options.
It flaunts a 50MP ultra-wide sensor
The OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom, and a 50MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it sports a 32MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip fuels the device
The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast-charging support. The handset offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and a Type-C port.
