OnePlus 10 Pro to debut in India by March 24
OnePlus is gearing up to soon launch its flagship handset, the 10 Pro, globally. In the latest development, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the phone will debut in India on either March 22 or March 24. Brar has also claimed it is likely to start at around Rs. 60,000. Previously, the company had confirmed the device will be available in India by March-end.
Why does this story matter?
Ever since its launch in China earlier this year, Indians have been eagerly waiting for the OnePlus 10 Pro. The handset made quite an impression on the Chinese as it was sold out within a second on its first day of sale. It is expected to emulate the success in India and a price point around Rs. 60,000 will only add to its success.
The handset features a 120Hz QHD+ display
The OnePlus 10 Pro sports a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset packs a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20.1:9, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 1,300-nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Dimensions-wise, it measures 8.55mm in thickness and weighs 200.5g.
It sports a 48MP main camera
The OnePlus 10 Pro flaunts a triple rear camera module, comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor with 3.3x optical zoom, and a 50MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens. Up front, it has a 32MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip powers the device
The OnePlus 10 Pro draws power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast-charging support. The handset offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and a Type-C port.
