Samsung rolls out One UI 3.0 update for Galaxy A01
Samsung has started rolling out an Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for its Galaxy A01 budget smartphone in Russia. The new firmware brings in a refreshed UI, performance, and security improvements, as well as new features like chat bubbles, one-time permissions, and integrated media controls within the notification panel. The new update for Samsung Galaxy A01 carries version ID A015FXXU4BUD8 and is currently being rolled out in Russia. To manually check for the firmware, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your handset.
The device comes in three colors
The Samsung Galaxy A01 has a plastic body, an edge-to-edge display with a waterdrop-shaped notch, and a prominent bottom bezel. On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup. The handset sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) PLS IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is up for grabs in three shades: Black, Blue, and Red.
It has a 5MP selfie camera
The Samsung Galaxy A01 has a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens. For selfies and video calling, there is a 5MP (f/2.2) snapper on the front side.
It is fueled by a Snapdragon 439 processor
The Samsung Galaxy A01 draws power from an octa-core Snapdragon 439 chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage. The device runs on a 3,000mAh battery and now boots Android 11-based One UI 3.0. It offers support for the latest connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.
