OPPO Find N3 renders confirm Hasselblad cameras, new color options
OPPO is set to launch its third-generation horizontal foldable smartphone, the Find N3, in China soon. Ahead of the launch, new official images showcase the device's innovative design. The most eye-catching feature is the prominent circular camera housing, which breaks away from conventional smartphone camera setups. This housing holds three top-of-the-line camera units, including a periscope telephoto lens, arranged in a triangular formation. The renowned Hasselblad "H" logo is also visible.
Camera housing and design
Opinions on the OPPO Find N3's camera housing design have been divided among consumers. Some may enjoy the distinct "monster camera phone" appearance, while others could find it lacking in high-end allure. The camera housing also displays the aperture markings and the LED flash is nestled in the upper left corner. Meanwhile, the exterior display is seen sporting thin bezels with speaker grilles on top.
The handset is tipped to get a 4,805mAh battery
OPPO Find N3 will offer 7.82-inch inner and 6.31-inch cover displays, both likely to be AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The bookstyle foldable's triple camera module is reported to comprise a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto lens. The handset will get a 4,805mAh battery with 100W charging support. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 16GB RAM. It should boot Android 13.
Foldable flagship aims to make a bold statement
As the launch of OPPO Find N3 nears, it's evident that the company aims to make a strong statement with its design, particularly regarding the camera. The unconventional design could set OPPO apart in the rapidly changing world of smartphone innovation. The handset will come in three color options: green, gold, and black. The green and gold models will feature a glass build, while the black version will have a leather finish.
