Nubia Red Magic 3, Alpha coming to India in May
ZTE-owned Nubia is set to launch the Red Magic 3 gaming phone, Nubia Alpha smartwatch, and the Nubia Pods in India next month i.e. May. The flexible Alpha smartwatch and the truly wireless Nubia Pods earbuds were launched in February at Mobile World Congress 2019, while the Red Magic 3 is expected to go official in China this month. All about Nubia's Red Magic 3 gaming phone
The Nubia Red Magic 3 hasn't been launched till now. However, the company has confirmed some of its key specifications. The phone will feature a flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 3,800mAh battery, and a display with a "higher refresh rate than most gaming PCs." It will also come with a built-in liquid and air cooling system and a new 4D vibration system.
Nubia Alpha: At a glance
The Nubia Alpha is a phone-cum-smartwatch that can be wrapped around the wrist to track fitness, click photos, make calls and even send messages. It features a 4-inch OLED display, water-resistant built quality, a 5MP camera, and offers battery life of upto two days. Further, it comes with a Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB of storage, and an eSIM with LTE support.
Nubia Alpha: Pricing and availability
The Nubia Alpha Bluetooth model with a stainless steel Black bracelet is priced at EUR 449 (approx. Rs. 36,200) while the eSIM variant is priced at EUR 549 (approx. Rs. 44,300). There is also an 18K Gold variant of the eSIM model which is priced at EUR 649 (approx. Rs. 52,400). However, we don't know which of these models would arrive in India.
Nubia Pods: The company's first-ever wireless earbuds
Nubia Pods are the company's first-ever wireless earbuds. Priced at 799 Yuan (approx. Rs. 8,200), they weigh only 6.2 grams and look a bit like Galaxy Buds. These earbuds support Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm aptX audio, and AAC HD audio.
