While Nothing is establishing its name in India's mid-range smartphone market with its debut handset, the Phone (1), OnePlus has already shifted its focus to that segment with the recently launched Nord 2T. The Nothing Phone (1) and OnePlus Nord 2T bear a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out. The former boasts a unique transparent design on the back with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and LEDs that glow in sync with notification sounds. It comes in Black and White shades. The latter gets a plastic rear panel. It is offered in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog colors.

Both the devices have a 50MP primary camera
The Nothing Phone (1)'s rear camera setup includes a 50MP (f/1.88, OIS) primary snapper and a 50MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, it houses a 16MP (f/2.25) front-facing camera. The OnePlus Nord 2T's rear camera arrangement comprises a 50MP (f/1.9, OIS) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.2) monochrome snapper. The Phone (1) houses a 4,500mAh battery with 33W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Nord 2T packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast-charging.
What is the cost of these smartphones?
The Nothing Phone (1) comes in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations that are priced at Rs. 32,999, Rs. 35,999 and Rs. 38,999, respectively. The OnePlus Nord 2T's base 8GB/128GB variant is retailing at Rs. 28,999 and the 12GB/256GB model can be purchased at Rs. 33,999.
Nothing Phone (1) v/s OnePlus Nord 2T: Verdict
In comparison to Nothing Phone (1), the OnePlus Nord 2T is a better deal as you get similar performance and hardware at a cheaper price. However, if you can stretch your budget a little, go for the Nothing Phone (1). It has a unique design, superior ultra-wide camera, a better display, more premium in-hand feel, and wireless as well as reverse wireless charging support.
