Leaked render reveals Nothing's first-ever speaker: Check details
Nothing is working on its first-ever speaker, which may be launched as the brand's fourth product after the Ear (1), Phone (1), and Ear (Stick). In the latest development, 91mobiles, in collaboration with tipster Kuba Wojciechowski, has leaked a render of the upcoming product. Nothing is yet to reveal the official launch date and details of the device.
Why does this story matter?
Nothing is emerging as one of the more notable consumer electronics brands in terms of innovation and customer satisfaction. The company now appears to be expanding its product portfolio from mobile and earbuds to speakers. The purported "Nothing speaker" could be the first audio speaker from the Carl Pei-led start-up to enter the heavily crowded market dominated by JBL, Harman, and UE.

Wojciechowski replies with a mock image
The speaker will have a red-accented button probably for power
The Nothing speaker could bear a unique "transparent" design, similar to the Nothing Phone (1) and Ear (1) TWS earbuds, which are so different from products nowadays. As per the render, the device will get a boxy design, and buttons for volume/power on the sides. On the left side, it will have a red-accented button. The 'Nothing' logo will be present on the front.
The device may get two subwoofers
On the front, the Nothing speaker will have three black cutouts, two of which may act as tweakers. The sub-woofers might be the two white cutouts in the middle. Looking closely at the render, you will also notice rubber paddings at the speaker's base. When placed on smooth surfaces, these paddings will provide good support and grip to the speaker.
Nothing speaker: Availability
At the moment, the technical specifications of Nothing's upcoming speaker are unclear. Also, the launch date can't be anticipated. Nothing will surely reveal some details in the upcoming days to increase the hype.
Nothing Phone (2) is also in the works
Nothing is also working on its second smartphone, Nothing Phone (2), which should be a more premium offering than Phone (1). At MWC 2023, the brand revealed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 series chipset. The handset is expected to get satellite connectivity. Hence, it may be fueled by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
