Nokia X: Design leaked, might launch on May 16
HMD Global's upcoming smartphone Nokia X6, which might also be called Nokia X, has been leaked in a video that showcases the complete design of the phone. The leak also hints at the device being launched on May 16 in an official event in Beijing, which is the same day the OnePlus 6 will be unveiled in London.
Dual rear cameras, glass back panel
According to the hands-on video preview, the smartphone will feature a vertical dual camera setup at the back, a fingerprint sensor beneath it, and the volume rocker and the power button at the right edge of the device. The leaked video shows the phone in a black finish and probably a glass back panel.
The phone will have an iPhone X-like notch
The phone will come with an iPhone X-like notch, however that aspect of the device wasn't visible in the video due to improper framing. Notably, the notch will not include 3D-sensing face recognition cameras unlike on iPhones. It is also expected to have a tiny bezel or a "thin chin" at the bottom, housing the Nokia branding.
Expected specs
The smartphone will reportedly feature a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 12MP camera, 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage. It will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 or a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, and run Android One-based Android 8.1 Oreo.
Expected pricing
The smartphone is rumored to approximately cost Rs. 16,800 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and Rs. 19,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. This will make the phone a lot more affordable than the OnePlus 6.
