Nokia PureView, featuring 5 cameras, to launch on June 6
HMD Global is all set to launch its flagship Nokia 9 PureView in India on June 6. To recall, the smartphone was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The key highlights of the smartphone include its five camera setup, Quad-HD+ pOLED display, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and top-level internals. Here is our roundup.
Let's have a look at Nokia 9 PureView
Up front, the Nokia 9 PureView sports a traditional notch-free display with sizeable top and bottom bezels. On the back, the glass chassis houses a novel five camera array. The flagship phone features a 5.99-inch Quad-HD+ (1440x2960 pixels) pOLED screen with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the phone has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the back, the Nokia 9 PureView houses a five camera setup, comprising 12MP sensors which include three monochrome sensors and two RGB sensors with all the sensors having an f/1.82 aperture. When you click a photo, each sensor captures a shot which are then merged together to create a single image with higher details. Up front, it sports a single 20MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Nokia 9 PureView is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Under the hood, it packs a 3,320mAh battery with wireless charging support and runs Android Pie as part of the Android One program. Further, the phone supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port but misses a headphone jack.
And, what about pricing?
At the moment there is no official word on the pricing and availability details of Nokia 9 PureView in India. The company will announce these details in the launch event which is scheduled on June 6 in New Delhi. Meanwhile, going by the specs, we expect the smartphone to arrive at a price of around Rs. 45,000 in the country.
