Nokia 9 with 5 cameras to be launched in February

One of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019, the Nokia 9 PureView will go official in Dubai by the end of January, according to 91Mobiles.
Interestingly, while this new information is in-line with an earlier tip-off, the publication also claims that the phone "will be launched in India at some point in February."

Citing sources in Nokia's distribution channel, 91Mobiles said Nokia 9 PureView will be unveiled in Dubai by the end of January.
Moreover, courtesy of an industry source familiar with the matter, the publication has revealed that the phone will launch in India in February.
Interestingly, 91Mobiles also claims that HMD Global will launch two other Nokia smartphones in the country in February itself.

As per renders, the Nokia 9 PureView will sport a traditional notch-free display with slim top and bottom bezels.
Further, the rear glass chassis will house the novel penta-lens camera setup.
The renders also show a USB Type-C port while highlighting the lack of a physical fingerprint scanner and headphone jack.
Hence, the phone may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Earlier, a leak claimed that Nokia 9 PureView's camera setup will comprise two 12MP sensors with OIS, two 16MP sensors, and another 8MP sensor.
The whole setup will come paired with LED flash and possibly, an IR sensor or laser autofocus. Moreover, as seen in the renders, the camera array has ZEISS branding.
Up front, the phone will sport a 12MP selfie snapper.

Nokia 9 PureView: Other key specifications
The Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to come with a 5.9-inch QHD+ display with PureView technology and dust and water resistant build quality.
The phone is quite likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with upto 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Further, the Nokia 9 PureView is expected to run Android Pie out-of-the-box and pack a 4,150mAh battery.

Given we have a couple of tip-offs suggesting a January launch, we can expect official teasers from HMD Global soon. Moreover, according to two separate reports, the phone could be priced at CNY 4,799 (Rs. 50,600) in China or cost roughly Rs. 60,000 in India.
