Nokia 7 Plus: Features, Price, Launch date and more
The HMD Global-owned Nokia brand has recently launched Nokia 7 Plus at the company's event in Barcelona. Featuring Zeiss optics on its rear-dual cameras and running Android One, Nokia 7 Plus comes at a global average retail price of EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 31,750). The phone will be arriving this April in two variants: Black/Copper and White/Copper. Here's our roundup.
How does it look?
The phone sports a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 500-nits of brightness rating, and Corning Gorilla Glass. It is Nokia's longest smartphone with maximum immersive display aspect ratio, till date. With copper accents highlighting the design aesthetics of the phone, on the rear, we have a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

The Zeiss optics dual-camera setup comprises a 12-MP wide-angle primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture, and 1.4-micron pixels and a secondary 13-MP, f/2.6 camera with 1-micron pixels and 2x optical zoom. As for the front shooter, the Nokia 7 Plus sports a 16-MP, f/2.0 fixed focus camera with 1-micron pixels, and Zeiss optics. The phone also features Bothie Mode, first seen on Nokia 8.
What is a Bothie Mode?
First seen on the Nokia 8, the Bothie feature lets the phone simultaneously record videos using both the front camera as well as the primary rear camera. This feature can be used for live video, such as Facebook Live or other messaging apps.
Under the hood
Nokia 7 Plus is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include USB Type-C (2.0), 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also packs a decent 3,800mAh battery with support for fast charging.
