Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2 officially listed in India, launch imminent
As the latest addition to its portfolio of Nokia-branded phones, HMD Global is all set to bring the Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 models in India. Both phones have been officially listed on the company's website, hinting at an imminent launch. To recall, Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 were first announced in February at Mobile World Congress 2019. Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2: At a glance
In terms of design, both phones look quite identical with U-shaped notched displays and premium looking 2.5D curved glass bodies. The Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ display and dual rear cameras whereas Nokia 3.2 sports a taller 6.26-inch HD+ screen and a single rear camera. Moreover, both models come with a rear fingerprint scanner and a dedicated button for Google Assistant.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The dual-lens rear camera setup on Nokia 4.2 includes a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.2) secondary sensor. Up front, it has an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. On the other hand, Nokia 3.2 comes with a single 13MP (f/2.2) rear camera and a 5MP (f/2.2) front camera. The front cameras on both these phones support face unlock feature.
Under the hood
Nokia 4.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset whereas the Nokia 3.2 is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor. Both phones come with 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable upto 400GB), and run stock Android Pie as part of Google Android One program. Under the hood, Nokia 4.2 packs a 3,000mAh battery while Nokia 3.2 gets a bigger 4,000mAh battery.
Pricing and availability
As of now, HMD Global has not announced any details regarding the launch of Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 in India. That said, given the phones are listed on the official website, we can expect them to become available anytime soon. As for pricing, there isn't any official word yet. However, going by the entry-level specs, these phones should arrive under Rs. 8,000.
