Priced at Rs. 10,999, the Android One-based phone comes with a notched display, a dedicated Google Assistant button, a power button with notification light, and entry-level internals including a Snapdragon 439 chipset. Nokia 4.2 sports a U-shaped notched display with a slim bottom bezel, an all-glass body, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a power button with notification light. On the rear side, it features a dual-lens camera and a fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the phone comes with a 5.71-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, a 19:9 aspect ratio and HDR support.

The Nokia 4.2 houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main camera, and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the phone comes with an 8MP (f/2.0) single selfie camera. Moreover, the rear camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Nokia 4.2, priced at Rs. 10,999, is now available in India via the company's online store. The phone will also be offered via several leading offline retailers starting May 14. As for launch offers, HMD Global is offering a Rs. 500 discount and a 6-month free screen replacement. Further, Vodafone-Idea subscribers will receive Rs. 2,500 cashback in the form of 50 vouchers.
