Nokia 3.2 launched in India, price starts at Rs. 9,000
As the latest addition to its portfolio of Nokia-branded phones, HMD Global has launched the Nokia 3.2 in India today. The Android One-based phone comes at a starting price of Rs. 8,990. Its key features include a notched display, a premium-looking all-glass body, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and entry-level internals including a Snapdragon 429 chipset. Here's our roundup.
Nokia 3.2: At a glance
In terms of design, the Nokia 3.2 looks identical to the recently launched Nokia 4.2 with a U-shaped notched display and premium looking 2.5D curved glass body. It also gets a rear fingerprint scanner (32GB model) and a dedicated Google Assistant button. Further, the phone sports a taller 6.26-inch screen with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Contrary to the trend of multiple cameras, the Nokia 3.2 sports a single 13MP (f/2.2) rear camera and a single 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera. Notably, the front camera offers support for Face Unlock as well.
Under the hood
The Nokia 3.2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chipset, paired with up to 2GB/3GB RAM, and 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable upto 400GB). The phone also runs stock Android Pie as part of Google's Android One program which guarantees firmware updates for two years and monthly security patches for three years. Under the hood, it houses a 4,000mAh battery.
Pricing and availability
Nokia 3.2 costs Rs. 8,990 for the 2GB/16GB variant and Rs. 10,790 for the 3GB/32GB model. It will be available starting May 23 via Nokia e-store and top retail outlets. As for launch offers, there's Rs. 2,500 cashback for Vodafone and Idea subscribers, 10% cashback for HDFC customers, and a Rs. 1,000 gift card as well as free one-time screen-replacement offer on Nokia e-store.
