    What's the story

In a bid to boost sales, HMD Global has reduced the prices of its budget friendly Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 smartphones in India.

With the latest price reduction, both the handsets have become cheaper by upto Rs. 1,800.

Notably, the price cut is permanent in nature but it is currently reflecting only on Nokia's official website.

    Here's more.

    Information

First, here's a look at the new prices

The Nokia 3.2 now costs Rs. 7,999 (previous price: Rs. 8,990) for the 2GB/16GB model and Rs. 8,999 (previous price: Rs. 10,790) for the 3GB/32GB variant. Likewise, the Nokia 4.2 with solo 3GB/32GB configuration is now available at Rs. 9,499 (previous price: Rs. 10,999).

    Design and display

Meanwhile, here's recalling both the handsets

To recall, both the Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 sport an all-glass body and feature a similar waterdrop notched design on the front. On the rear, both handsets house a physical fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking.

Further, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ display, while the Nokia 3.2 sports a taller 6.26-inch screen with HD+ resolution.

    Cameras

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

On the imaging department, the Nokia 4.2 houses dual rear cameras including a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the handset sports an 8MP (f/2.0) front-facing shooter.

The Nokia 3.2, on the other hand, sports a single 13MP (f/2.2) rear camera and a single 5MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Nokia 4.2 draws power from a Snapdragon 439 processor, while the Nokia 3.2 packs a Snapdragon 429 chipset.

Both the handsets run stock Android Pie as part of Android One program and get upto 3GB of RAM and upto 32GB of internal storage.

Further, the Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 are backed by 3,000mAh and 4,000mAh batteries, respectively.
