Nissan Terrano Sport launched in India at Rs. 12.22 lakh
To further expand its portfolio of Terrano SUV cars, Nissan India has launched a special edition called the Terrano Sport at a price of Rs. 12.22 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This limited version of the Terrano gets some cosmetic changes, both inside and outside but remains mechanically unchanged. Here's our roundup of the Terrano Sport's features and specs.
Terrano Sport gets a dual-tone color scheme, and new decals
The Terrano Sport edition gets some visual changes to differentiate it from the regular variants. On the outside, the car gets LED daytime running lamps, a dual-tone color scheme with a white body and contrasting black roof and pillars, and new cladding on the wheel arches. This special edition Nissan SUV also has red stripes on the hood, fenders and the rear door sill.
The cabin gets new crimson highlights
On the inside, the Nissan Terrano Sport has received new crimson-stitched seat covers along with crimson highlights to the floor mats and a brown and black dual-tone finish on the dashboard. You also get a 7.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, touch lane change indicator, dual-airbags, rear parking sensors, a rear defogger and wash/wipe, and adjustable front and rear-seat headrests.
Under the hood
The Terrano Sport Edition is only offered only with 1.5-liter diesel engine which has remains unchanged. The K9K 1.5-litre, in this limited edition SUV, is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and generates a power of 85bhp and 200 Nm of torque. For its braking performance, the Sport Edition borrows ABS, EBD, and brake assist features from the standard Terrano variant.
Terrano Sport edition also comes with NissanConnect
The edition also comes with NissanConnect platform that connects with the customer's smartphone to provide an enhanced driving experience. NissanConnect offers 50+ features such as Geo-fencing, Speed Alert, Curfew Alert, nearby pit stops, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location. Moreover, the company will provide 3 years of complimentary NissanConnect services to the customers who buy the Terrano Sport edition.
