Expanding its portfolio of budget handsets, Realme is working to launch a new, entertainment-focused variant of its popular Realme C1 smartphone.
Flipkart has already teased the upcoming phone, detailing its design as well as some entertainment and gaming-centric features.
To recall, the Realme C1 was launched in India last year at an introductory price of Rs. 6,999.

What to expect from the new entertainment-focused Realme C1
As per the Flipkart teaser, the upcoming Realme phone will probably retain the design of Realme C1, and will feature upgraded specs to offer a better entertainment and gaming experience.
Hence, we can expect a crisper, full-HD+ display, more RAM, higher storage options, a faster processor, louder speaker/speakers, and possibly a bigger battery as well.

The Realme C1 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520x720 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Glass protection.

In the camera department, the phone sports a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with PDAF fast focusing, HDR and AI-powered Bokeh mode and Beautification feature.
Up front, it offers a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper which supports HDR, AI Beautification and AI Face Unlock.
Further, Realme C1 supports 720p/1080p video recording at 30fps.

The budget-end handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable upto 256GB).
Under the hood, it runs Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 and packs a 4,230mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, the Realme C1 was launched at an introductory price of Rs. 6,999 but currently retails for Rs. 7,999.
