
Sunita Williams to share her ISS experience on March 31
What's the story
NASA astronauts from the Crew-9 mission, including Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, will share their experiences at the International Space Station (ISS) with the public.
They will do so in a press conference scheduled for March 31.
The event is slated to begin at 2:30pm EDT (12:00am IST, April 1) at NASA's Johnson Space Center.
However, due to scheduling problems, Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov will not be attending the conference.

Media representatives wishing to attend the conference, in person or virtually, must contact NASA's Johnson newsroom by March 28.
For those who plan to join via phone, a reminder has been issued to call 10 minutes ahead of schedule.
The event will also be broadcast live on NASA+. This gives a wider audience a chance to engage with the astronauts, as they describe their experiences and insights from their mission.

Crew-9 mission: A journey through space
Williams and Wilmore reached the ISS on June 5 last year, aboard Boeing's Starliner spacecraft. Together, the duo has spent an incredible 286 days in space, traveling an astonishing 121 million miles.

Scientific breakthroughs and future missions
During their time in space, the Crew-9 mission dedicated an impressive 900 hours to scientific research. The team conducted over 150 experiments, from plant growth studies to stem cell technology research.
They also performed a spacewalk and investigated the survival of microorganisms in space.
This work is part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program, which aims to advance spaceflight technology for future missions to Mars and the Moon.
