My Airtel vs. MyJio: My Coupons launched against My Vouchers
Bharti Airtel has launched a "My Coupons" section in its My Airtel app. The new feature directly takes on the "My Vouchers" section in rival Reliance Jio's MyJio app. My Coupons, just like My Vouchers, can be exclusively used to avail different offers on select transactions. The feature has been rolled out to the app's latest version 4.2.8.1 on Android.
100% cashback on first recharge of Rs. 399, Rs. 448
As an introductory offer, Airtel is giving 100% cashback on recharge values of Rs. 399 and Rs. 448 to prepaid subscribers. The cashback will be received in the form of multiple coupons worth Rs. 50 each, which will appear in the My Coupons section. T The cashback can be redeemed only for the number on which the recharge was made.
My Airtel app gets Paytm, UPI integration
Airtel has also partnered with Paytm and UPI to allow users to directly make payments on the My Airtel app using their Paytm Wallet or a UPI-based service. And on making a recharge through Paytm, Airtel is offering a 10% cashback offer with a maximum amount of Rs 30. This will be credited within three working days from the date of the transaction.
MyJio app already allows making payments through Paytm
Earlier in December, Reliance Jio had updated its MyJio app for iOS with a Paytm Wallet integration as well. It also has a JioMoney payments option, through which users can pay their postpaid bills or recharge their prepaid accounts on the app.
