Huawei MateBook X Pro (2022) and MateBook E launched
Huawei has announced its flagship its MateBook X Pro (2022) laptop and MateBook E laptop-cum-tablet at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The premium laptop carries a starting price-figure of €1,899 (roughly Rs. 1,60,000) while the hybrid device starts at €649 (roughly Rs. 54,600). While the former is aimed at power users, the latter is tailored for content creators.

The MateBook X Pro (2022) and MateBook E are Huawei's latest efforts to cement itself in the personal computing space. The MateBook X Pro (2022) is claimed to be the world's first laptop with TÜV Rheinland Pro-level color accuracy with dual color gamut certification. MateBook E is a rival to Apple's iPad Pro and comes with Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) and a magnetic keyboard.
Huawei MateBook X Pro (2022) has 90Hz display
The MateBook X Pro (2022) has a 14.2-inch LTPS QHD+ (3120x2080 pixels) display with up to 90Hz refresh rate, a screen-to-body ratio of 92.5%, and 500-nits of peak brightness. It has vapor cooling heat dissipation modules, triple air intakes, a large trackpad with Huawei Free Touch feature, a full-sized keyboard with multi-level backlighting, a fingerprint scanner, six speakers, and four microphones.
The laptop packs 1TB of onboard storage
Huawei MateBook X Pro (2022) is powered by the 11th-Generation Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. It has a 720p web camera and packs a 60Wh battery with support for 90W charging. The device provides four Type-C ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, as well as Bluetooth 5.1.
Huawei MateBook E has an OLED screen
The MateBook E boasts a 12.6-inch OLED QHD+ display with support for Huawei's stylus and smart magnetic keyboard. It comes with up to 11th-Generation Intel Core i7 Processor, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of SSD storage, and a 42Wh battery. It also gets a Type-C port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, fingerprint sensor, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera.
Huawei MateBook X Pro (2022) and MateBook E: Pricing
The Huawei MateBook X Pro (2022) costs €1,899 (roughly Rs. 1,60,000) for the i7/16GB/1TB model. The MateBook E starts at €649 (around Rs. 54,600) for the i3/8GB/128GB variant and goes up to €1,399 (approximately Rs. 1,18,000) for the top-tier i7/16GB/512GB configuration.
