Renowned content creator, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has announced a staggering $5 million giveaway, in what he calls the 'largest game show ever in history.' The announcement was made today via X. He invited individuals to participate in his Beast Games, stating, "I'm giving away $5 million in the largest game show ever in history. If you want to compete in Beast Games (I need 5,000 people lol) apply here."
Criteria and application process for Beast Games
To participate in Donaldson's Beast Games, individuals must meet certain criteria. They must be at least 18 years old, have a passport with validity through April 2025, and be free from late June to possibly September 2024. Applicants are required to submit a 60-second video introducing themselves, and explaining why they want to take part in the games. Additionally, two recent photos - a selfie and a full-length image - are also required for submission.
History of generous giveaways and projects
MrBeast is no stranger to grand giveaways. Earlier this May, he marked his 26th birthday by gifting 26 Tesla vehicles, including a Cybertruck. In March, he announced a partnership with Amazon Prime Video for a large-scale game show project. He stated then, "Big news gamers, I'm going to be producing the largest game show in history and premiering it on Prime Video! With over 1,000 contestants, a $5,000,000 prize, and numerous world records."
