Motorola gearing up for new RAZR foldable smartphone launch
Motorola, a prominent player in the smartphone industry, recently unveiled its Edge 50 Pro smartphone. The company also announced the launch of its premium variant, the Edge 50 Ultra, scheduled for April 16. Amid these releases, there's growing anticipation around Motorola's next potential product — a new addition to the RAZR series of foldable smartphones, rumored to be named the RAZR Plus 2024.
Speculations surrounding the new foldable
Details about the upcoming RAZR smartphone are still limited. However, a recent certification from China for a new Motorola handset with the model number XT2453-2 has piqued interest. This certification doesn't disclose much about the device's specifications or name, but it does coincide with a previous leak suggesting that the forthcoming Motorola RAZR carries the code number XT-2453-3 for its US version.
Potential design features of the RAZR Plus 2024
The same leak that revealed the model number also offered a glimpse into the design of the upcoming foldable device. The RAZR Plus 2024 appears to maintain its lineage with a cover display on one half and two camera rings positioned on the top-right, akin to the existing model. When unfolded, it will feature a display with a centrally located punch-hole camera for selfies.
