    What's the story

Motorola's reimagined RAZR phone, which was unveiled in a foldable avatar in the US last week, is indeed coming to India.

The premium handset is listed as "coming soon" in the country, and interested buyers can register themselves to receive updates about its arrival.

At present, details about the launch timeline and pricing are scarce but expect nothing less than a six-digit price tag.

    Unofficial stuff

Motorola RAZR: Expected launch in India and pricing

While the RAZR is coming to India soon, we don't have an official launch date yet. Perhaps, it could launch around the festive season i.e. December-end. After all, in the US too, the phone will go on sale from December.

And given the RAZR costs $1,500 (roughly Rs 1.07 lakh), add some import duty and taxes to pay a substantial amount in India.

    Design and display

Meanwhile, here's recalling the Motorola RAZR

The Motorola RAZR sports a flip phone-like design, much like the original RAZR handset. However, on the inside, there's now a 6.2-inch flexible OLED notched screen with HD+ (2142x876 pixels) resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

On the outside, there's a secondary 2.7-inch (600x800 pixels) Quick View display for accessing notifications, music, and other actions as well as a fingerprint reader on the lower-base.

    Information

Motorola RAZR packs just decent cameras

In the days of multiple and mighty camera sensors, the $1,500 worth Motorola RAZR offers a single 16MP (f/1.7) primary external shooter and another 5MP selfie camera housed in the notch of the internal screen.

    Internals

    Under the hood

The Motorola RAZR is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

Under the hood, it packs a 2,510mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging and runs an optimized version of Android Pie.

Further, you get all the latest connectivity options including NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and eSIM support instead of physical SIMs.
