Motorola One Action specifications, price and launch date leaked
Over the past few weeks, several leaks have suggested that Motorola is working to launch a new 'One Action' smartphone. However, nothing concrete was known about the handset. But now, thanks to a gaffe by Amazon Germany, we know the key specifications, release info and pricing details of the upcoming Moto phone. Here's everything to know.
Motorola One Action to borrow One Vision's design language
According to leaks and renders, the One Action will retain the design of Motorola One Vision, including the punch hole display and a prominent bottom bezel. However, on the rear, it will offer a plastic casing instead of glass. Further, the phone will sport a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2520x1080 pixels which translates to a Cinemascope aspect ratio of 21:9.
One Action to offer a triple rear camera setup
The Motorola One Action will offer a triple-lens rear camera setup as against the dual camera unit on the One Vision. Reportedly, the camera array will include a 13MP main sensor, a depth sensor, and a wide-angle "Action Cam" with 117-degree field-of-view. Up front, the phone is likely to offer a 13MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Motorola One Action, as per leaks, will be powered by a Samsung-sourced Exynos 9609 chipset, paired with upto 4GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will house a 3,500mAh battery and support the company's proprietary 15W Turbo fast-charging. Lastly, as part of the Android One program, the phone will run stock Android Pie out-of-the-box.
Pricing and availability
According to the Amazon listing (which is now pulled down), the Moto One Action will go on sale on September 7, following a reveal at IFA 2019 show that'll kick off on September 6. As for pricing, the 4GB/128GB variant will cost 299 euros (approx. Rs. 24,000). Reportedly, the company will also release cheaper models with 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB configurations but their pricing is unclear.
