Moto Edge 30 Pro's first sale in India today
Motorola's newly-launched Edge 30 Pro will go on sale for the first time in India today via Flipkart at 12pm. The flagship handset was introduced last month and it is priced at Rs. 49,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB model. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 via SBI Bank credit cards to bring the effective price down to Rs. 44,999.

Motorola's Edge 30 Pro is the cheapest smartphone in India to be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is a rebranded version of the Edge 30X that was announced in China in December. Alongside the powerful chipset, the handset also gets high-end hardware such as a 144Hz display, solid cameras, and 68W fast-charging to attract smartphone buyers.
The handset boasts a 144Hz AMOLED screen
The Moto Edge 30 Pro sports a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has an IP52-rated build quality, a plastic frame, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the display. Dimensions-wise, the device measures 8.8mm thick and weighs 196g. It offers a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.
It features a 50MP ultra-wide camera
The Edge 30 Pro is equipped with a triple camera arrangement on the rear, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) main sensor, a 50MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 60MP front-facing shooter. The front and rear cameras can record 4K videos at 30fps and 8K videos at 24fps, respectively.
It is backed by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip
The Edge 30 Pro draws power from an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It ships with Android 12 operating system and packs a 4,800mAh battery that supports 68W wired and 15W wireless fast-charging. The smartphone also houses stereo speakers and offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, NFC, and a Type-C port.

The Moto Edge 30 Pro costs Rs. 49,999 for the single 8GB/128GB variant. It can be picked up in shades of Cosmos Blue and Stardust White via Flipkart starting 12pm today.
