Lenovo-owned Motorola, in partnership with Flipkart, has launched its first-ever Android-based Motorola TVs in India today. The smart television series is available in sizes ranging from 32-inches to 65-inches and offers upto 4K resolution. The Motorola TV range comes at a starting price of Rs. 14,000. Here's our roundup.
Motorola TV series comes with upto 65-inch 4K TVs
The Motorola TV range offers six models including the entry-level 32-inch HD-Ready variant, a 43-inch Full-HD model, and four premium models with 4K resolution. The UHD (4K) models are offered in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. The range also offers 178-degree viewing angle, HDR 10 support, Dolby Vision, and a proprietary autotuneX display technology that is touted to improve the viewing experience.
Motorola TV range packs 30W front-firing speakers
The Motorola TV range comes 30W front-firing speakers, DTS Tru Sound support as well as Dolby Audio for an "enveloping" audio experience, according to the company.
Under the hood
Further, the Motorola TVs are powered by an octa-core chipset, Mali 450 GPU, 2.25 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory, and MEMC technology that's claimed to offer blur-free viewing experience. Under the hood, all the models run Android TV 9, offering access to Google Assistant, Chromecast, and Google Play Store. Lastly, the Motorola TV series also comes bundled with a rechargeable, Bluetooth-enabled gamepad.
Pricing and availability
The range starts at Rs. 13,999 for the entry-level 32-inch HD-Ready model. The mid-end 43-inch (Full-HD) and 43-inch (UHD) variants cost Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively. Further, the 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch UHD models are priced are Rs. 33,999, Rs. 39,999, and Rs. 64,999, respectively. All the models will be made available through Flipkart starting September 29, during the Big Billion Days sale.
