Moto Z4 with 48MP camera goes official: Details here
As an addition to its portfolio of smartphones, Motorola has officially launched its all new Moto Z4. The key highlights of the smartphone include its full-HD+ display, 48MP camera, 128GB of onboard storage, and mid-level internals. Notably, it will be up for grabs in the US from June 6, while the details about India launch are still unclear. Here is our roundup.
Let's have a look at the Moto Z4
Talking about looks, the Moto Z4 offers a waterdrop notch display with thin bezels on top and bottom, while the back houses a 16-pin pogo connector (for attaching Moto Mod) and a single rear camera. Further, the smartphone sports a 6.4-inch display with the full-HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Moto Z4 offers a 48MP shooter for shutterbugs
For photography, the Moto Z4 houses a single 48MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. The main camera offers a bunch of photography features like PDAF, laser autofocus, and night vision mode. Up front, the phone sports a 25MP (f/2.0) snapper for selfies. Moreover, the rear camera is capable of recording 2160p videos at 30fps, while the selfie snapper can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Moto Z4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable upto 2TB). The smartphone is backed by a 3,600mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support and runs Android Pie. Lastly, it offers all standard sensor and connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Finally, what about pricing?
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Moto Z4 will be available from June 6 at a price of $499 (around Rs. 34,900) in the US. However, there is no official word about its India launch and pricing at the moment.
