Moto Z4 leaked specifications suggest it'll be a powerful mid-ranger
As the successor to last year's Moto Z3, Lenovo-owned Motorola is planning to launch Moto Z4 sometime soon. Recently, an official press render of the phone was leaked, revealing its design and features. And now, 91Mobiles has obtained "some internal marketing material related to the Moto Z4", which mentions the key specifications of the upcoming mid-range smartphone. Here's everything to know.
Moto Z4: At a glance
As per renders, the Moto Z4 will feature a waterdrop notched display with ultra-slim bezels and splash-proof build quality. On the back, it will have a 16-pin pogo connector for attaching Moto Mods and a single rear camera - a rarity on modern-day smartphones. Further, the phone will sport a 6.4-inch OLED display with full-HD resolution and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Moto Z4 to offer a 48MP rear camera, 25MP selfie-snapper
As per the leaked material, the Moto Z4 will sport a single 48MP rear camera which will deliver more detailed 12MP images by using the company's Quad Pixel technology. The rear camera will also support Night Vision mode for improved low-light photography. Up front, it will offer a 25MP camera with Group Selfie mode and deliver 6MP (using pixel binning) "incredibly sharp" low-light selfies.
Under the hood
The Moto Z4 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB internal storage option. It is also touted to support 5G network via Motorola's 5G mods. Further, the phone will pack a 3,600mAh battery with TurboCharge fast-charging and come with stock Android Pie support, USB Type-C port, as well as a headphone jack.
Moto Z4 could be priced at around $500
While the marketing material has exposed a ton of details regarding Z4's specifications and features, it doesn't give away any information related to pricing and availability of the phone. However, it does say that Moto Z4 will cost "half the price" of present-day flagships. Hence, we can expect a price tag of around $500 or roughly Rs. 35,000.
