Motorola launches Moto Z2 Force smartphone with shatter-proof screen
Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its Moto Z2 Force smartphone in India. Just like all the other Force series smartphones, the Moto Z2 Force also sports a shatterproof display, powered by Motorola's ShatterShield technology. The phone has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 34,999 and can be bought from either Flipkart or Moto Hub stores across the country.
Moto Z2 Force comes with a shatterproof, water repellent screen
The flagship Motorola smartphone features a 5.5-inch QHD display, which comes with a four-year guarantee against screen breakage. The display screen also has a water-repellent nano-coating that reportedly protects it from splashes. The dual-SIM device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and runs the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system (OS).
The flagship phone features 12MP camera, 6GB of RAM
The smartphone features a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. It also has an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, a proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor on the home button.
The smartphone is bundled with a 3500 mAh battery pack
The Moto Z2 Force sports a 2,730 mAh battery, however, the company is bundling each device with a TurboPower Battery Pack Moto Mod. The battery pack features its own 3500 mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 5,999. The smartphone also comes with a 15 W TurboPower charger that claims to provide up to eight hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charge.
