Ahead of launch, Moto G8 Plus's specifications leaked
As an addition to its portfolio of smartphones, Motorola is working to introduce the Moto G8 Plus. The Lenovo-owned tech giant is expected to launch the phone in Brazil on October 24. And now, just days ahead of its unveiling, WinFuture.de has leaked the renders and key specifications the upcoming phone including its waterdrop notched design, 48MP triple cameras, and mid-level internals. Moto G8 Plus: At a glance
Going by the leaked images, the Moto G8 Plus will feature a familiar waterdrop notched design with a prominent bottom bezel. On the rear, the glossy panel will house triple cameras and a physical fingerprint reader concealed behind the brand logo. Further, it will sport a 6.3-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Moto G8 Plus will reportedly house a triple rear camera setup with 48MP (f/1.7) main sensor, 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the phone will house a 25MP snapper for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.
Here's a look at the internals
According to the leak, the Moto G8 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and upto 128GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it will pack a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and run Android Pie OS. Lastly, it should offer all latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and headphone jack.
Finally, what will be the pricing?
There is no official word on the pricing and availability of Moto G8 Plus yet. However, looking at the specs, we expect the smartphone to cost somewhere around Rs. 20,000 in India.
