Moto G7 Power appears on Geekbench: Specifications, design, and launch
As the successor to its Moto G6-series, Motorola is now working to launch the G7 series. Recently, some press renders of the Moto G7 appeared on the internet, revealing a waterdrop notch. And now, the Moto G7 Power has been spotted on Geekbench, showcasing its design and key specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. Here's everything we know so far.
Moto G7 Power to sport an iPhone X-like notch
Unlike the Moto G7 which will feature a waterdrop notch, the Moto G7 Power has adopted an iPhone X-like notch. As seen in the renders, with a cut-out display, the G7 Power should offer increased screen area as compared to its Moto G6-series smartphones. Further, renders suggest the phone will feature a single rear-camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and glass-like curved back panel.
Moto G7 Power to come with Snapdragon 625, Android Pie
According to the Geekbench listing, the Moto G7 Power will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. Further, the phone has been spotted running Android Pie. Meanwhile, according to another leak, the Moto G7 Power has been tipped to pack a massive 5,000mAh battery.

Geekbench is a cross-platform processor benchmark platform which grades processors on their single-core and multi-core performances. While calculating multi-core scores, Geekbench runs multiple streams of instructions simultaneously per core and reports an aggregate score. According to the listing, the Moto G7 Power has scored 1,286 points in the single-core test and 5,443 points in multi-core performance.
Moto G7-series to get USB Type C port, headphone jack
In the G7 series, Motorola is expected to launch four smartphones - Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play, and Moto G7 Power. And according to leaked renders, Moto G7 is expected to come with a headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Hence, we can expect these connectivity options on other Moto G7 series handsets as well.
