Moto G60 and G40 Fusion handsets launched in India
Motorola has launched its latest G-series of smartphones in India, the Moto G40 Fusion and Moto G60. The devices carry a starting price-tag of Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 17,999, respectively. As for the key highlights, both the handsets come with a 120Hz display, a triple rear camera setup, a Snapdragon 732G chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery. Here are more details.
The phones are available in two colors
The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion feature a punch-hole cut-out with a prominent bottom bezel, a water repellent build, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader with a ThinkShield security portfolio. The handsets bear a 120Hz, 6.8-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. They are offered in two color options: Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne.
Moto G60 boasts of a 108MP main camera
The Moto G60 sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 108MP (f/1.9) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The Moto G40 Fusion packs a similar camera module but with a 64MP (f/1.7) main sensor. For selfies and video calling, the duo has a 32MP (f/2.2) and a 16MP (f/2.2) front-facing snapper, respectively.
They are backed by a Snapdragon 732G processor
The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion are powered by a Snapdragon 732G chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. They boot Android 11 and pack a 6,000mAh battery with TurboPower 20 fast-charging support. For connectivity, they offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Moto G60 and G40 Fusion: Pricing and availability
The Moto G60 is priced at Rs. 17,999 for its solo 6GB/128GB model and will go on sale from April 27 via Flipkart. Separately, Moto G40 Fusion costs Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. It will be up for grabs from May 1 via Flipkart. ICICI Bank is offering an instant discount of up to Rs. 1,500.
