Ahead of launch, Moto G60 and G40 Fusion's specifications revealed
As an addition to its G-series of smartphones, Motorola will launch the G60 and G40 Fusion models in India on April 20. Meanwhile, Flipkart has listed the handsets on its website, revealing their key specifications. As per the listing, both the devices will come with a 120Hz 6.8-inch display, triple rear cameras, a Snapdragon 732G chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery. Here's our roundup.
The phones will flaunt a 120Hz LCD display
Moto G60 and G40 Fusion will feature a punch-hole design with a prominent bottom bezel and a dedicated Google Assistant button. On the rear, they will house a triple camera unit and a physical fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. The handsets will bear a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support.
The G60 will boast of a 108MP main camera
The Moto G40 Fusion will offer a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensor. The Moto G60 will sport a similar camera module but with a 108MP main camera and an 8MP macro shooter housed within the ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calling, they will have a 32MP front-facing snapper.
They will draw power from a Snapdragon 732G processor
The Moto G60 and G40 Fusion will be fueled by a Snapdragon 732G chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. They will boot Android 11 and pack a 6,000mAh battery with up to 18W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the duo should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Moto G60, G40 Fusion: Pricing and availability
The official pricing details of the Moto G60 and G40 Fusion will be announced at the April 20 launch event. However, considering the specifications, the line-up may start at around Rs. 20,000. They will be available for purchase via Flipkart.
